Tammie Green

Artists, creatives, people who make things—tend to do so in multiple formats. I’m no different. I love to share my passions with others, so I teach whenever I have the opportunity. 

As education takes on many forms, my classroom evolved from preschool to creating dynamic learning products for, and instruction in, undergraduate courses.

My true passion is cultivating future filmmakers in all aspects of development and production and cultivating change makers of any kind.

My desire to serve led to nonprofit management studies, and to founding Sowartistry in Action, Inc., a nonprofit arts advocacy organization whose flagship program is the Young FilmMakers Intensive.

Wearing many hats, I created and directed the program, taught screenwriting, and fundraised over $25K in grants and donations.

Teaching filters into this lane and so does art; I designed all marketing and promotional materials.

Producers and creative project managers share many similar duties and characteristics like understanding project goals and objectives, quality and empathetic leadership, and being able to organize multiple, related tasks that have deadlines and dependencies. 

I am also an agile writer/editor in multiple formats. Over the years, I've actually grown to prefer editing over writing, as it employs my knack for solving problems.

Ultimately, I truly enjoy creative collaborations, advising, strategizing, telling stories and helping others tell theirs.
